Most bariatric programs recommend 20 minutes of exercise daily immediately following surgery. And then gradually increasing it up to 60 minutes a day over the course of your first 6 weeks post-op.
So I'm going to start a challenge for anyone that wants to join in.
- The challenge will begin on August 15th.
- To join, just post a message below saying you're in!
- You can join no matter where are in your recovery and journey.
- Report here as often as you can on what you've accomplished each day.
- Everyone's Target Goal will begin 60 minutes per day.
- Any type of exercise counts: Walking, Running, Kickboxing, Weight Lifting, etc!
- Most importantly - Have Fun!!

So with my surgery pushed back a day, I will be starting the challenge on either the 16th or 17th depending on how I feel. But the challenge itself will still kick off on the 15th as planned!
