I was thinking about this earlier when I got dressed for work. I've haven't bought clothes in forever because of my weight loss plans. And the clothes I do have are looking really worn. In the short term I'm really looking forward to getting clothes that fit and I don't have to squeeze into and being able to fit into some of my nicer clothes hanging in my closet that have been lonely for a long time.

Did you take measurements and pictures? I've had plenty of instances where the scale just doesn't want to move. It lies a lot of the time. I prefer measurements and pictures in those cases.

My clothes fit slightly looser and I havenโt taken any progress pics because I honestly look the same as my pre-op pics (to me). Measurements were a bust! My waist and hip measurements were bigger than they were at the beginning of my journey. Maybe because everything is kind of falling? I donโt know, my body is extremely weird Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lol Maybe it's just gas or fluid retention at this point. I thought of two other things: Underwear - cute underwear, not the standard Target package Bikini Wax - once I can see it again.

I actually bought one cute bra and panty set for when I get smaller. And I didnโt even think of the bikini wax, lol. Will probably be super painful being that everything will be rather โlooseโ in that area ๐๐๐ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello, I looking forward to being of my meds (insulin, thyroid and cholesterol) and be able to walk without pain in my left leg (nerve tumor from an accident). Everything else is cherry on top. I'm 6 weeks post op (7/3) and I feel great! Of course I did stall for like two weeks BUT I did like Emily said and had measurements and pics beforehand, which was the only thing giving me encouragement, because that stupid scale wasn't I finally got over the stall and it's starting to come off slowly, but I'll take that. I've now gone from a size 20/22 (3x) to 18 (XL). The 18's are very loose too. I've started a pile to take to a local thrift store, they do an exchange of credit, which is nice. I have found I need a better bra because the ladies are beginning to droop I never heard of the pizza thing, but guess that's a good description as any lol. I've graduated from granny panties to boy shorts, which is so odd. I even began to lose weight in my feet!! I had bought a pair of scketchers before surgery that were snug and rubbing, which I didn't wear bet much, but now they fit great. I had a few bumps in the road right after surgery and I'm sure there are a few more ahead of me, but just trying to stay positive
